What you’ll learn in this course

  • Define and identify different types of confined spaces
  • Apply the entry requirements as per AS 2865
  • Carry out hazard identification, assessment, and control
  • Understand the Legislation, Regulations, and Standards applicable to Entering and Working in Confined Spaces
  • Understand and apply the roles and responsibilities of standby personnel

Entry Requirements

Participants must have the ability to read, write and understand English.

  • Assessment

    A candidate cannot be deemed competent unless they are able to demonstrate competency in all assessments. Each candidate has a maximum of two additional opportunities to demonstrate competency without additional fees applying.

    Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date, however, industry standards recommend retraining every two years.
