CPCCLSF2001 - Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding basic level


The following information contains the terms and conditions for course commencement. A

candidate’s enrolment at Breight Education is considered to be an agreement with the terms and conditions of enrolment. This course brochure is to be read in conjunction with the Breight Education Course handbook.

You are required to provide Breight Education with your USI# (Unique Student Identifier Number) at the time of enrolment.


10 days (8.00 am to 4.00 pm)


Participants must have a basic level of understanding with math and English. You will be required to pass a simple Language, Literacy and Numeracy test before commencing this course. Participants must be physically able to:

·Undertake manual handling tasks

·Work at Heights

·Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.


Course completion may lead to employment in the Scaffolding industry, across the construction, mining and oil & gas sectors. On completion of the unit participants may undertake further studies in scaffolding.

This course will be delivered by Breight Education Pty Ltd (RTO Code 45006) in our Training Facility at 1 Eyre St, Rivervale, with practical assessments delivered at the same premises Practical assessments are delivered over a period of time to confirm consistent skills and performance.  . Additional time may be required where a student requires additional skill development training.


Each individual will be required to complete the Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency CPCCLSF2001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding basic level these include:

·Knowledge Assessment


·Practical/ performance assessment


A candidate cannot be deemed competent for the unit unless they are able to demonstrate satisfactory performance (to the required level) in all assessment tasks. Each candidate has a maximum of two additional opportunities to demonstrate competency without additional fees applying.


Breight Education provides appropriate learner support to all students through its assessment delivery, applying reasonable adjustment to assessment where the student experiences learning difficulties. A LAnaguage literacy and numercy assessment will be requested prior to commencement of the course in order to determine if any additional support is required.  Programs and materials can then be adjusted to support the candidate if needed.  All reasonable adjustments are carried out in a manner which maintains the integrity of the unit of competency.


Breight Education recognises AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by any Registered Training Organisation in Australia following a formal verification process.


RPL is a form of assessment that acknowledges skills and knowledge gained through:

·Formal training conducted by industry or education;

·Work experience; and/ or

·Life experience.


The main principle of RPL focuses on the outcomes of learning, rather than when or where the learning occurred. Evidence is collected by the candidate and submitted to the nominated Assessor. An judgement is made based on the required industry standard within the relevant training package unit of competency.

RPL fees are available on request.


Breight Education does not collect total fees in excess of $1500 in advance of the course delivery.


Fees are changed and paid on enrolment electronically via the website.


These course fees do not include the cost of the High Risk Work License issued by WorkSafe.


Certification will not be issued where course fees have not been paid in full.
